To strengthen this year’s event, WCS is working in collaboration with SUSTAINIA, a Scandianvian think thank. Sustainia will bring the 100 best sustainable solutions to COP21.
The Sustainia Award show is an annual international award given to a solution, technology, or project with significant potential to help build a more sustainable future.
Led by former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the award committee includes UNFCCC’s Christiana Figueres, Gro Harlem Brundtland (Former Prime Minister of Norway), and Connie Hedegaard (Former EU Climate Commissioner). The committee reviews and selects a winner from the top 100 solutions chosen from 6 continents and more than 1,500 entries.
