Biography
Mr. Anders Runevad has been the Chief Executive Officer and Group President of Vestas Wind Systems A/S since September 1, 2013. Mr. Runevad served as Head of Western & Central Europe at Ericsson (known as LM Ericsson Telephone Co). from April 2010 to August 2013. Mr. Runevad served as Head of Region North America and President of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA), Inc. since April 2009. He served as Head of Sales and Executive Vice President at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB since January 1, 2007 until April 1, 2010 and served as its Head of Region North America and President of Sony Ericsson USA since April 1, 2009. He served as Head of Global Sales & Marketing at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB. Mr. Runevad served as President at Ericsson Brazil of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB since 2004. He had been responsible for Ericsson’s overall telecommunications infrastructure and service business in Brazil. Mr. Runevad joined Ericsson in 1984 as a Design Engineer and has over the years assumed roles in the areas of R&D, Product management, Marketing and Sales. He worked for Ericsson in Sweden, Singapore , US and Brazil. Mr. Runevad holds a Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lund.
